Objectives of the NoCo Pest Alert program:
- Monitor major insect pests in northeastern Colorado
- Provide proactive research based pest management information to crop growers and agricultural community
- Help improve pest scouting and management skills of growers and agricultural businesses through education
- Conduct applied pest management research in collaboration with other specialists and agricultural agents
- Reduce crop loss due to pest problems and increase agricultural productivity and environmental quality
